Most of you have heard of Steven Curtis Chapman, and Shaohannah's Hope, dedicated to helping orphans, since he himself has 3 adopted girls from China. I have his new awesome CD All Things New and totally love his music. I found from one of his older CD's Declaration a sound called When Love Takes You In, it talks about adoption from the childs point of view and the family's view. I am totally in love with this song and can't get it out of my head..here are the lyrics:
I know you’ve heard the stories, but they all sound too good to be true, You’ve heard about a place called home, but there doesn’t seem to be one for you
So one more night you cry yourself to sleep, And drift off to a distant dream..
Where love takes you in, and everything changes, A miracle starts with the beat of a heart, When love takes you home and says you belong here, the loneliness ends and a new life begins ,when love takes you in
And somewhere while you’re sleeping, someone else is dreaming too, counting down the days until they hold you close and say I love you, And like the rain that falls into the sea, In a moment what has been is lost in what will be...
When love takes you in, everything changes, A miracle starts with the beat of a heart,
And this love will never let you go, there is nothing that could ever cause this love to lose its hold,
When love takes you in everything changes, A miracle starts with the beat of a heart, When love takes you home and says you belong here, the loneliness ends and a new life begins, When love takes you in it takes you in for good, when love takes you in.
Steven has a new Christmas CD coming out called All I Really Want for Christmas and OMG look at the cover...
He is also having a Christmas Concert tour with MercyMe, and I have already asked Mom to get me tickets as soon as she can. His first tour date is going to be the day after Thanksgiving and he is coming to Greenville, SC..YAY! I will be going to his first 2005 Christmas tour concert!

What a week! I feel like I have been run over by 2 trucks..That's how tired I am. So tonight after I got home from shopping I decided to watch my favorite movie...
Lemony Snicket's.. A Series Of Unfortunate Events which BTW is my all time favorite movie. It is absolutely hilarious for all ages! Since I first watched it in Hilton Head I have been addicted to the movie and simply cannot get enough of it. The man that wrote "The Series" is an absolute genius if you ask me.. a pure genius! Also my school started back Thursday and so far it is going good..totally LOVING being a senior and getting special privileges, although I have some pretty challenging classes this semester..I am already feeling a little stress that the new year has brought. This weekend I am going to take it easy and try to relax! Tonight I got an awesome air-brushed T-Shirt with my name on the front and on the back it says "Seniors" then has kinda like a red no smoking sign with a frosty in the middle of it..GREAT! I am wearing it to school Monday and will have to post pictures just for the heck of it!!!
Also yesterday marked the one month anniversary of us being DTC..one month closer to Chloe!!...I am so doing the happy dance....
Feel free to join along! I hope you all have a happy safe weekend!!!!

Last week when my best friend Mary and her Mom went to Baby Gap they bought Chloe this adorable denim dress and pink shoes to match! I can see Chloe in this already all decked out in style!!
I love Mary, she is the best friend a girl (and her future lil sis) could ask for...XOXO. I know Chloe will look up to her "Aunt Mary"!
**Please keep Mary in your prayers as she continues to get treatment for (ALL) Leukemia**
~~My digital camera's batteries went dead so I had to put the pictures on here from the Baby Gap Website~~

What a LONG day! First we drove about 2 hours to Charleston, walked and shopped in the HOT HOT sunny air, and got stuck in traffic because of a flood. Talk about a tiring day..i'm wore out. Anyways here are the pics.....
All is well in the hot sun, then eating at Sticky Fingers..
THEN the flood came....
The water had started flooding homes and cars were stalling out...
We finally got through it and made it back to Hilton Head at around 9:30, here are the things I bought at Charleston...
A CD with Chloe's name in the songs and a plush ladybug, and the best thing my "Carolina Girls" shirt..Oh yeah, it is sooo true!!!

YAY! We drove into Hilton Head at around 5:00 today. All we really did when we got here was un-pack, take a nap, eat at Mellow Mushroom (YUM), and eat ice cream!! We didn't get a chance to catch some rays on the beach so hopefully we will the rest of the week! Here are some pictures of today!
I brought along Chloe's baby Mulan doll so I could have something with me this year that reminds me of Chloe. The picture of me kissing Mulan makes me think of kissing Chloe on the way to Hilton Head next year. Catherine decided to hold Mulan also, and Tigger (our cat) wanted Catherine to hold him like a baby too..LOL! The middle picture was taken at the Mellow Mushroom.

Tomorrow I am going to our annual Hilton Head vacation for a week with my parents...YAY! Since Mary is sick and can't go, her little sister Catherine is going instead. I can't wait to go and lay out in the sun, and shop! This is probably going to be our last vacation until China. So next year we will have little Chloe with us...I get excited thinking about playing with her in the sand!!! There will probably be internet access at the beach house we are staying at, so hopefully I will be able to post pictures while at the beach! In case I don't get to get on the internet at Hilton Head, I hope you all have a wonderful week!!!
I also bought a book that looks very interesting it is Wanting a Daughter Needing a Son, it is about orphanage care in China. I can't wait to start reading it while tanning on the beach!!
