2 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First of all I want to say CONGRATS to all of you that are going to finally get to see your precious babies faces in the next few days, although have to admit i did shed a few tears at first knowing that 2 days are all that excluded us from this batch 2 FLIPPIN DAYS!!!!!, but its comforting to know that we WILL be included in the next batch…no matter what the cut off is!!! We can finally say when people ask when we will get our referral we can say "next month" for sure, ahhh that felt so good to type..lol..ive been waiting a long time to type those words ;) but after 14+ months of waiting we are going to see our sweet Chloe's face in a month...ok so this is going to be one LOOONNNGGG month for sure.

Patience is definetly running low in my house, this whole journey has opened my eyes to the importance of patience and having faith that things ARE going to work out. I personally have gained a lot of patience throughout this wait and think that i have also gained emotional & spiritual strength as a whole. I found this the other day and I feel like this is the perfect time to post it...

Ahh its that time of the year again!
OMG tonight was the season premiere of ER..which just happens to be my FAVORITE show ever...I have a feeling that this season is going to be one of its best ever..ER has been on TV since 1994, so obviously it has kept people intrigued for over a decade....WOW!! This show is so dramatic and it has some very intense storylines which involves the everyday struggles that Emercency Room Doctors in a big city such as Chicago where this is set go through each and every day...this show makes me sort of want to go into some kind of medical field....doctors are heros in my eyes, i have experienced their miracles all the time especially with Mary and how they have the power and knowledge to cure her and make her better!!

Meant to be...part two...
I know a lot of you remember this post but for those of you who didn't read my blog then I will sum it up in a few words...found a pink stroller (they have been hard to find throughout the years) named Lindsey....my name=Lindsey, therefore me (Lindsey) got excited and knew it was meant for us to have that stroller for Chloe. Okay dokey up to speed..ne ways back in December I got a couple of gift cards for babies R us...so in August I finally decided to use the gift cards to purchase that perfect Lindsey stroller plus two other goodies for the kidlet's room =)

"so sad that we have to put a doll in the stroller instead of our precious Chloe...ready to stroll her in it =)" (ignore the mess in nursery..we havent fully finished it yet..lol)

"This is the softest rug...it matches Chloe's room theme..princess obviously..lol"

The wait is really starting to take a toll on me...so to help make my days go by faster, i have been spending some bonding time with my precious cousin Mason, who is 23 mths old..Chloe and Mason are going to be tight as thieves..lol. Just check out some of these adorable goodies for tykes that just make me laugh..i can SO see both Chloe and Mason "matching" in these items...hehe..**BTW the "Lock up your daughters shirt also belongs to Britney Spears' oldest son, Sean Preston!!**

**The shoes are by Stride Rite, you can find these shirts plus many other ubber cute things that make you laugh at Shop Intuition **

A Life cut short...
If you are the praying type PLEASE pray for the family of a 16 yr old boy named Holden Shippam who was shot September 14 and died shortly after. I didn't personally know him but he went to Chase so I saw him in the halls and stuff...its just heartbreaking and it makes me realize that life is short and it can be taken away from you in a heartbeat, no matter how old you are...please pray for Holdens family and friends...its a true tragedy.

RIP Holden Gregory Shippam

We will NEVER forget!!
9/11/01: A day that we will remember in infamy..a day where nobody thought terror could strike the USA so abruptly, but yet it did and time stood still. People were shocked beyond words, trying to understand what was going on. I will always remember that day, sitting in my 8th grade class personally saddened and scared because I myself had just been on top of one of the twin towers in 1999 and again december 2000. I hope you all took time out of your busy schedual to think and remember those who died on that fateful day...i sure did.
The first 2 pics were actually taken on top of the twin towers in 99.....
.....the first three pics were taken on my first trip to NYC in 1999 where me and my mom went with one of my childhood friends Holly and her mom, when i was in the 5th grade. The last pic is me and my dad in Dec. 2000, the last time I got to see the skyline of NY with the twin towers...since 9/11 I have been back to NYC twice and got to see ground zero...its an experience i cannot put into words...

This pic was taken in June 2004 at ground zero...its more amazing than i could photograph...
