Tomorrow?!?!?!

Hopefully tomorrow will be THE DAY we've been waiting for...the day we FINALLY get Chloe's referral and see the special little girl that will become my sister!! I can't even begin to explain the emotions I am feeling right now, i am beyond words.....after all the struggles my parents have been through and all the loads of paperwork and waiting, we are FINALLY going to have a face to put to the name we've been saying since before we even started filling out the first papers...Chloe.
My whole family is going to be blessed with a Daughter, Sister, Niece, Grandaughter, Cousin and friend....in about a day. Only one day seperating us from our baby girl...
i just pray it does happen tomorrow because I don't know how we are going to go yet another weekend without her picture.

Another weekend of waiting

Apparently the CCAA is decided that they are not going to send out referrals when they usually do (which would have been THIS week) and they are making us wait yet another weekend before they send the "stork" out..grrrr im tired of waiting, period. Rumor is that the matches have been made, so my question is WHY NOT SEND THEM??!! They are doing no good just sitting on a desk waiting to be mailed....geesh. For now, we wait, and I am going to leave you with this....

You can always tell that the holiday season is approaching when you look in magazines and on websites at the advertisements for stores that have a holiday look to them. Well The Children$ Place has the cutest Christmas advertisement.....

Looking at this from the perspective of the fact that my parents adopting from China, it makes me feel like society is finally warming up to the joy of creating a family through international adoption.

I just love these girls..

This is Catherine (in the back) and Carlie (front) being "ganstas" lol...they are characters thats for sure! These kids are soooo excited about Chloe coming home and have drew her a lot of pictures since we started the process and can't wait until the day when we get her referral (not much longer girls!) They are both 9 yrs. old and just love the WHOLE idea of Chloe and the changes she will make to my family and close friends. Chloe will be so blessed to have these 2 girls as role models, they are truely special to me in their own (sometimes crazy) way, but you know what I wouldn't trade their crazyness for anything!!

Care package info..

This cute blanket that I have been sleeping with for the past month is going to go in Chloe's "Care Package" that we will send to her in China while we are still waiting to travel. I thought the soft color would be soothing to her until we can bring her home.

ok whos responsible for making the time go sooo slow this month..ok who is it, come on tell me. i know what u guys are thinking..THIS..GIRL..IS...LOSING..IT!! But im really not, my head is totally secure on the top of my head. OK fine i admit it this wait is killing me, especially the last two weeks of waiting for our referral, i mean i have done pretty good in being somewhat patient throughout this LOOONNGG 14 month wait but something about this last two weeks is just about to do me in..grrr..maybe it has to do a little with the fact that it is midterm and I have been dealing with the added stress that brings, and one of my close friends, Lacie has been sick and i haven't been able to talk to her, which im not used to, so yea this has not been the best week to say the least..grrr we still have around a week and a half until referrals are supposed to be mailed..are you kidding me??!! Ok so maybe this would be a good time to look into yoga or maybe even meditation...haha who am I kidding, i SO can't see myself sitting still long enough to TRY to focus my energies on whatever goes along with that kind of stuff...instead i am going to focus on the fact that WE ARE GETTING CHLOES REFERRAL SOON..ahh yep im back on track..maybe ;-)

this is one of my best friends Lacie..if any of you are the praying type please pray for her because she is going through a rough time and she is one of my best friends..

And another one bites the dust...

Well yet another month has come and gone by since August 11, 2005...yup today marks the fourteenth month since our dossier was logged into China!! It gets me a little bummed out because when we were first logged in, we were told the wait was around six months from our LID. Well now the wait has almost tripled from the original six month wait..but instead of thinking about how angered this wait makes me, I am going to look on the bright side because WE ARE NEXT!!!!!!!!!!!! According to RQ, based on her analysis of previous months, referrals should begin arriving this month between October 18th and November 2nd with the most likely day being October 25th!!! OMG, counting the days on my calender and that means the 25th is exactly 2 weeks from today...i cant believe this is going to finally happen...and boy does it give me a boost each morning to think of the day when we will actually get to see Chloe's face. We're next!!

Since our referral will obviously come in the next batch which will arive at the end of this month, we will be traveling to China in the winter, according to our agency we will more than likely be traveling December 15-28 which means we will be there for Christmas, my dads bday (the 26th) and my bday (the 27th)...how awesome is that???!! What a great Christmas-Birthday gift!! I could not ask for anything better, I get cold chills just thinking about being with Chloe for Christmas and our birthdays, it just makes me all warm inside =). Speaking of warm, its going to be soooooo cold when we go to China that we are going to have to pack plenty of warm clothes for us and Chloe. I can't wait until the end of this month when all the stress and waiting will finally pay off..ahh its going to be great
